  • Gun fitting sessions are undertook by John Wiseman master gun fitter.

  • During the consultation John will examine the shooters technique through a series of exercises. John will progressively indicate key elements which can determine and alter the shooters aim. When possible, customers will be given the opportunity to see how temporary alterations can improve their performance.

    Elements considered during the appointment include:

    • Hand position
    • The length and pitch of the stock
    • Eye to rib relationship
    • Balance
    • Recoil
    • Adjustable Combs

Why you should have your gun fitted

Shotguns with factory stocks come in standard dimensions that are suited to a medium, so unless you're blessed to be that perfect size, we strongly recommend getting your gun fitted. Whether the beginner on a budget aiming to start off with good habits or the discerning experienced shooter hoping to refine their technique. Our stock alterations are sensibly priced and in perspective to the individuals needs, we aim to be as inclusive as possible.

Did you know we can order brand new guns in for you? Buy with the confidence that your new gun will fit you. All to often, we see people make ill informed purchases, providing we have an old gun to demonstrate potential alterations we can help to indicate what new guns are suitable and what alterations may be required if a new gun is acquired. Soon you will be able to purchase by finance and we are glad to announce we are now considering part exchange deals.


Customer Notice

An average appointment may take an hour or more, please book in advance. Currently appointments or available between 10 am – 5pm , Monday to Friday, please contact us with your desired time by telephone or email. Customers are requested to bring the clothing they intend to wear and gun(s) to be altered. Small group visits are available but are limited to 3.
